COLYPAN® (Trimebutine solution for injection.)

Composition:

Trimebutine 50 mg/5 mL solution for injection.

Indications:

Irritable Bowel Syndrome and functional dyspeptic disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.

Dosage:

The usual adult dose is 50 to 100 mg (1 to 2 ampoules) daily by intramuscular (IM) injection. It may also be administered by slow intravenous (IV) injection over 3 to 5 minutes or by IV infusion over 60 minutes in saline or dextrose solution.

For inpatient use (surgery and radiology), the daily IM or IV dose should not exceed 400 mg during the acute phase.

As an adjunct to endoscopic and radiological procedures, administer 1 to 2 ampoules intramuscularly prior to the procedure.
