TAPAZOL®

Composition:

Thiamazole (Methimazole) 5 mg

Indications:

Thiamazole is indicated for the medical treatment of hyperthyroidism.

It may also be used to improve hyperthyroidism during preparation for subtotal thyroidectomy or radioactive iodine therapy.

Dosage:

Thiamazole is administered orally. It is generally given in three equal doses at intervals of approximately 8 hours.
